We are looking to recruit a full-time Estimator/Contracts Manager, with proven experience in the scaffolding industry, to join our well-established team.
The role
The successful applicant should be able to generate their own workload, overseeing projects through from tender stage to final account. This will involve a wide range of duties, including:
Maintaining existing business relationships and building new ones.
Overseeing the submission of tenders and subsequent procurement of work for the business.
Maintaining contractual records and documentation.
Updating and amending RAMs.
Maintaining regular communication with clients and other stakeholders.
Settling final accounts.
Key requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
Experience working as a Contracts Manager, with a background working for scaffolding contractors.
Basic estimating skills – visiting sites, looking at access to get materials in, measuring up on site, etc.)
Sound knowledge of scaffolding and the construction industry.
The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Friendly, polite and personable.
Proactive attitude.
Ambition and desire to progress.
Versatile and flexible.
Located, or within an easy commute of, South East London.
